The Lobular American Research Consortium (LARC) is an independent, investigator-led scientific consortium connecting scientists and clinicians across the U.S. and Canada who share a commitment to Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC) breast cancer research.
By uniting ILC-focused multi-disciplinary teams at academic medical centers, LARC will enable transformative, collaborative research initiatives that leverage collective resources and expertise of the nationwide ILC community.
Central to LARC’s mission is a commitment to transparency and collaboration over competition, working toward a shared goal of making an ILC diagnosis a gateway to precision treatment and improved outcomes for patients facing lobular breast cancer. Learn more.
We are grateful for the support of The Dynami Foundation, who is providing catalytic seed funding to launch and support the Lobular American Research Consortium (LARC) and advance critical research initiatives. Their investment provides a strong foundation for collaboration, innovation, and scientific progress in invasive lobular breast cancer research.
Founded by breast cancer survivor Flora Migyanka, The Dynami Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to advancing research and scientific understanding of invasive lobular breast cancer. Through innovative research funding, scientific collaboration, and patient-driven initiatives, the foundation is committed to improving outcomes for those diagnosed with lobular breast cancer.
Dynami's support of LARC reflects the deep relationships Flora has built with many of the world's leading lobular breast cancer investigators throughout her nearly 14-year journey as a survivor and advocate. Over the past decade, the foundation has funded more than 25 national research projects focused on invasive lobular breast cancer, which have resulted in scientific posters, publications and helping accelerate awareness, discovery, and progress in this historically underfunded area of research.
