Joining LARC means becoming part of a coordinated, high-collaboration research network where:
Leadership provides clear strategy and resource support
Site PIs ensure active engagement and institutional contribution
Working groups drive tangible scientific output
With the importance of having capacity for interdisciplinary research within each LARC site, the presence (and/or growth) of a collaborative team with ILC expertise is a high priority in considering new groups for joining LARC.
Roles for individuals outside of interdisciplinary teams will be limited and will be the exception in the growth of LARC.
The application to become a LARC member site is an online form (downloadable version) that can be submitted at any time.
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the LARC leadership team during the next monthly meeting. Please allow 2-4 weeks for review.
You may be contacted by the LARC co-chairs (at the email address provided) if additional information is needed.
Upon completion of review, the LARC Co-chairs will contact you (at the email address provided) with a final decision.
If you have any question if you need help with the application or if you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us at contact@larcilc.org or by submitting an inquiry form.
Before beginning your application, you will need:
The names of your site PI or co-PIs.
The names and specialties of faculty who have demonstrated interest in joining your site group.
A brief description of your site's motivation for joining LARC.
A brief description of the strengths and gaps in ILC research and/or clinical care at your institution.
A list of current or pending ILC-related resources at your site.
If you are interested in joining an existing member site, you do not need to submit an application. Please contact us for more information on how to connect with your institution's LARC team at contact@larcilc.org or by submitting an inquiry form.
